I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from RYK Science College, Nashik, then I went on to do a Master's in Microbiology from the Department of Microbiology, Pune University. My PhD project deals with understanding the role of 14-3-3σ in tumor progression, chemo, and radioresistance and how does it function differently in different types of cancer. I am using colon and breast cancer cell lines as a model system.
I like photography, travelling, playing cricket and volleyball and reading books.
